All Nippon Airways (ANA) has grounded their 787-8 fleet up to January 27. ANA has canceled 123 domestic and 18 international services. This has been in affected since January 16 and will probably end on January 27. The international routes that are majorly been affected are from Tokyo Narita to Seattle, San Jose, and Beijing. These cancellations have affected more than 47,000 passengers. On January 16 ANA had voluntarily grounded their 787 fleet due to one aircraft the suffered a lithium-ion battery malfunction. After that incident all 787s around the world have been currently grounded.
