Embraer with new engines and wing design and an advanced fly-by-wire for their E-Jets

The Brazilian company Embraer will switch engine maker. They will be designing new wings for their E-170 and E-190. The next generation E-Jets will have an advanced fly-by-wire system. Embraer will switch from General Electric engines to Pratt and Whitney for there E-170 and E-190 family. Those planes will be powered by Pratt and Whitney PW1700G and PW1900G geared turbofans. Embraer is thinking about stretching the fuselage of the E-195 to have more room for a bigger payload. The stretching will help burn less fuel and help life of the engines. Embraer plans to introduce the new jets around 2018. Embraer is still coming with a brand new wing design.
